We are Jon and William Velie, a new generation of immigration attorneys. We have broken away from tradition to better serve the needs of today's sophisticated immigrant.

We are not your typical attorneys. We are part of the computer generation, and are very comfortable with emerging technology. We are a top choice for foreign computer professionals and firms the that place and hire them. We speak their language. We know their business. We understand their needs. We respect and respond to their hectic, fast-paced world. We share that world with them.

But we do not confine ourselves to that world. We also represent university students, specialty cooks, and professional athletes. In fact, we have brought more foreign rugby players to America than any other law firm in the world. We even successfully obtained the first Greencard for a pro rugby player.

Our firm focuses on the practice of immigration law. We also represent high tech companies. Jon serves as a director for Vectrix.com, and Jon and Will are officers of Cybergate Technologies.

We have also successfully represented various Native American tribes. We find their unique cultures, like those of our immigration clients, to be of keen personal interest - an interest that dates back to our undergraduate days in Native American Studies at Cal Berkeley.

Our family has assisted immigrants coming to America since the 1920's when our great grandfather, Abraham Rockmore, regularly petitioned Congress on behalf of his clients for the Hebrew Immigration Aid Society.
